Holiday Inn Express Durham, an IHG Hotel

This Holiday Inn building is 20+ years old. It appears to have been recently remodeled and was immaculate. The king bed was comfortable and there was a sofa to relax on while watching the evening news. The hotel was a convenient drive to Duke Hospital - Durham if you avoided the highway and took the surface roads. We all agreed that the breakfast was a notch above the average hotel free breakfast offerings. I enjoyed the warm cinnamon rolls and my husband liked the bacon.

The clean & spacious room was a huge plus for me. The bed was extremely comfortable, it's like sleeping on a cloud. One thing that really surprised me was the dove toiletries, really nice!

The hotel was conveniently located right off the interstate so it was a little loud with highway noise. The hotel itself was clean and fresh. Bathroom was in nice shape as well. Loved the complementary breakfast each morning. Staff was nice and friendly.

Loved the cinnamon buns! Main reason we selected your hotel. Pancake machine was fun.
